The Lutheran Youth Organization
The LYO, with a primary focus on high-school-aged students, brings the youth of the ELCA together at all levels, from the congregation to the National ELCA Youth Gathering. The LYO
also provides a link from the youth of this church to other organizations, bringing the voice of the ELCA's young people to traditionally adult groups and boards, including the biennial
Churchwide Assembly and the ELCA Church Council. Past activities at Faith Lutheran have included snow trips, barbecues, day hikes, and rock music services.
The ELCA also offers growth opportunities through Lutheran Outdoor Ministries. The Servant Learning Events and high adventure programs provide unique experiences that encourage lifelong
learning, enthusiasm and commitment to service, ongoing faith development, self-confidence, and a stronger sense of community among participants.
